FINALLY got everyone to the 60s, but how the **** do I get them to the 70s now? Running up and down with the VS Seeker just to get two trainers with Pokémon in the 50s to battle ain't cuttin' it.
So I haven't played Pokemon in ages and want to get back into it. Do you guys recommend actually buying a 3DS to play the new ones or just download a DS emulator on my Samsung?
And which game should I get? I've previously played Leaf Green, Emerald and Platinum.

Pretty sure they don't have 3ds emulators? Even most 2DS emulators are slow af
I'm going to buy a 3DS tomorrow, should I start with Black/White? Or X/Y?
Annoying generational biases aside, buy one of X or Y because it's much more suited to the 3DS as a console. It will allow you better perspective on the current state of the franchise and will better prepare you for Sun and Moon. You could buy Black or White later on and still have fun with it if you like it, but as you're getting a new 3DS, I think the 3DS game is the best option for the best immediate experience.

way more fun, better Pokémon and the graphics and region are just pretty to look at. The battles are stunning and you can watch them in 3D!
