I saw that she said she still lives in London. I wonder if the house she bought in LA (if she really did) is for work related things, like working an album, etc? I'm assuming with her new deal, she'll have another album out in a couple of years, just no tour.

She mentioned a song she cut from 25 that she really liked and told Diane Warren she still wanted to use the songs they wrote so she probably has some material already. I just hope it's more consistent, upbeat, and has a few more obvious hits on it that aren't so formulaic. She needs another RITD. Something upbeat, fresh sounding, and catchy.
I also hope she writes a lot of the album with people like Tobias. I also want a big collaboration with someone.

I just don't want another 5 year break. Hopefully she gets worried people won't care anymore and that forces her to not take so long.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw it, probably saw that going to Cali worked out well for both this album and 21 and wants to do it again. In addition to the mention at Barcelona, last night she brought up touring again, starting like 'when I tour again... if I tour again...' then into a joke about not saying "this next one" before all the songs. Hard to get a read on the plan tbh, I could see it going both ways. Sony will obviously want her to tour, this one has gone really well thus far, and I don't see any other form of major promotion she prefers to doing shows at this point. Logistically, though, dates would either have to be more compacted or done in even bigger venues to work around her kid's school year, which are two things that she may not be into. I guess she's be planning on going to this supposed house in the summer as well? Hmm...

Not sure if we're thinking of the same thing but the founder of Music Business Worldwide, Tim Ingram, seemingly confirmed it to The Guardian. HDD has been talking about it for ages also (and they tend to be mostly right about Adele stuff).

Also, how are we defining break? Because everybody always says there was a 5-year break between 21 and 25, which is pretty much true if you're taking it as the time between release, but it was more like 3/3.5 years if we're counting from either Skyfall or the final promo of the era.
