i kinda don't really see why this was worth getting mad about in the first place, though. i'm pretty sure when people see two mutants fighting they don't think "omg they must be in a relationship!!!", so it seems like nobody was actually interpreting it that way except the people that were mad about it.
unless you think fighting a woman in any situation ever, even if she has mutant powers, is bad. but that's just stupid.

Stupid, and unnecessary. They want females in action/super-hero movies but things like this piss them off? Do they want the fights to be completely one-sided and boring

This was truly an example of SJWs doing the absolute most. There's nothing to apologize for. This is an action film based on a comic series about mutants. Not some domestic abuse melodrama about a blue skinned woman trying to escape her God-like ex.

And this is why we're ****ed up. One person makes a big deal out of literally NOTHING and just because Fox knows all the tumblr SJW's are going to be up on their asses and they'll probably loose sales, they issue an apology, even when an apology wasn't needed. And now whenever something similar happens, the SJW's have control and can change things to their liking.
Truly disgusted.

****ing sensitive people.
It's literally a villain choking a hero. Who gives a **** what genders they are!?!
If this were a woman choking a man or a man choking a man or a woman choking a woman nobody would care and say "oh hey it's just because it's in the movie" but NOOOO the ****ing SJWs think that as soon as a man is doing the choking to a woman it's sexist and wrong.
Give me a ****ing break. People are way oversensitive and look to be offended in anything.

And then we wonder why the quality of movies, TV shows and music is declining. Everything has to be censored these days, in fear of offending someone who doesn't have anything better to do in his/her life.
Feminists want women to be seen for more than just their bodies and their sex appeal, yet they support Kim Kardashian who doesn't have anything else to offer and condone her monthly naked selfie.
Say something positive about a woman, you're gay. Say something negative about a woman, you're sexist.
POC want equality, fair chances in life, to not be stereotyped(completely normal and valid) yet when a white person tries to do something normally done in black culture, he/she is being mocked because 'It's a black thing'.
White people are privileged trash who are born racists, swim in money and enjoy seeing people suffer.
Straight people are privileged trash who are born racists and have everything they want in life, no struggles whatsoever.
ENOUGH. ENOUGH with these labels, these terms, constantly categorizing and stereotyping people. We're all HUMANS. Not gay, not straight, not black, not white, not asian, not trans, not vegans, not SJWs, not males, not females. HUMANS.
We're entering a very dangerous era. We've come to a point where a woman can lie about being raped(I'm not talking about Kesha's case, as I believe Kesha is telling the truth in this situation) and she'll pull the sexist card which will rile up all the SJW's and she'll have support that could potentially benefit her in the end. Just because she can pull the woman card in 2016.
I'm seriously so over this era of labels, terms, conditions, validations. This isn't progression. It's destruction.

Yeah they're superpowered mutants to people who know the films, but to most people it's just a blue Jennifer Lawrence being choked-out by some random big guy.
No-one is saying they can't fight in the movie. People paying for the movie, won't question an action sequence that shows these superpowered mutants fighting, but to promote the movie showing one of the biggest female actors in the world - being choked, is reckless.
People are upset that this particular IMAGE is being used to promote a movie. You have to step back, pretend you know nothing of this franchise and see the image for what it is. Take away the logo, the title, the names, and it's just a man, choking a woman.

It's not a MAN chocking a WOMAN. It's a mutilated MONSTER choking a BLUE 'woman'. How can ANYONE find that offensive when it's clearly fictional and promoting a MOVIE that's based on VIOLENCE, regardless of gender, sexuality, color, WHATEVER.
Like, use your heads. Stop reading through the ****ing MANUAL and use your minds.

Violence is evil and unnessicary, there's no reason for it to be in films, because they're just going to cause people to do evil things in real life and we need to be more peaceful
Sadly there's a lot of violence in movies (which I why I don't watch them) and I wish there wasn't This is definitely a step in the right direction.
