Yeah unfortunately a lot of people have the perception these days that wanting to wait = being a prude, or thinking that they're better than everyone.

You do you and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise, there's nothing wrong with wanting to wait before engaging in sexual relations. I lost my virginiry at 19 and before then I was delt with the same issues. Hell, last year between April and September I went on a spree that I hate to think back of because I let what others think influence my decisions and now have a lot of sexual relations I wish I had never had.

Moral of the story, it's okay to wait. It's okay to not wait. You do whatever makes you comfortable and don't let your values be compromised for what others believe.

You're not alone. Sometimes I think people care more about my sex life(or lack of) than I do.
I say I'm a virgin and people talk to me like I'm insane or stupid, or like I'm less of a man because of it. Sometimes I feel the pressure of conforming.
