Similar things are being said on the current pop girls. You'll never know which act will become a celebrated legend and your comments will be seen as ridiculous 10 years from now.

With her level of talent, I find it difficult to believe she wouldn't have been able to be successful without DC. That's how she came up in the industry, but I have a feeling she would have been around regardless.
