There really to my knowledge hasn't been an official release date plus this is no My Name is Nicole because she hasn't released 1 million singles before shelving the project... also shes probably waiting for a better time for the album to do well and to get in the best promotion...

An album can't be "delayed" if it has no confirmed release date from the label, the people who actually send the album out to stores. Official as it gets is the label, obviously.
Not to mention there was never even a release date for the first single
