No, I'm not kidding, I'm very serious, I am not blaming her nor taking his side but there's no worse blind as those who will not see, he wasn't gonna change out of nowhere, all I'm saying is that all of this could've been avoided but now it's a lesson for her and for all those who think that the beaters will change, they never do...

Hopefully she will get the help she needs and he will be charged and get the helps that he also needs.

The relationship between the abuser and the abused is quite a delicate and extremely hard one to comprehend.

The abuser is often found to be very apologetic in the sensitive post-violent stages. The abused can, most of the time, be lead to believe that it was their fault that the altercation occurred, and therefore go back hoping that they can change themselves, or better yet that they can change them.

Very true.

It is often the case, I don't know why we as society listen to the cry wolf scenarios than the millions of women who are abused at the hands of men.

Oh and obviously there's vice versa cases but that's not the topic here.
