Tamar Braxton got that dirt off her shoulder after being fired from The Real last month, and is already on to her next venture.
During her first interview since the debacle, on The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Braxton and host Steve Harvey announced that the singer will be launching her very own talk show under Harvey's production company.
The two didn't reveal any further details about the upcoming show, including a premiere date, but this definitely could bring some exciting possibilities.
Talk show hosts need to have more demure and flexible personalities. Tamar will be coming on too strong, suffocating her guests. I feel like she'll also be compared to Wendy a lot (it's dumb, I know), which might hurt her. Tamar works better as a member of a panel, cause that way, her mannerisms are seen as "spicing things up" rather than "doing too much"
I love Tamar but I just wish she focused on being a singer. It can be a viable career for her. And maybe in 3-4 years time, she can return to television.
I'm excited to see what this show's gonna look like, I'm so happy for her She works so damn hard with BFV, her reality show with Vince, The Real & her music, she deserves this success.
No this wasn't the real reason she was fired, she still doesn't know, according to her interview with Steve, why she was really fired. She's moving on from being fired. Don't post things you don't know about.
It's not going to last. Katie Couric, Meredith Vieira, and Queen Latifah all had their talk shows canceled, and they're more marketable than Tamar. Daytime talk is hard to crack, and she's in for a rude awakening. Also I think she's set in her ways, so she isn't changing. She's not palatable.
