If you think Smartwatches have no use to specific people, then yes
They aren't for everyday people, but are extremely handy for business people, teachers etc.
No one says they are for people who want Snapchat notifications sent to their wrist
I said I would never get one, but my friends chipped in for my Birthday and got me the Apple Watch.
I had to act "omg wow" when I got one because I previously would say (on here too) they look rediculous and just a waste.
I was going to get a Fitbit, but now I don't need one. And as I work in an office, I often walk around the building and my phone stays in my locked draw for most of the day.
I also set reminders for my Breaks, Meetings and other Projects I have and it's just a little vibration on the wrist.
I get all Notifications to my watch when I'm within 15 meters of my desk, I can set reminders etc. I can go walking/jogging without my phone and listen to my music etc.
It replaced the need for a Fitbit, replaced my iPod Shuffle and helps me around the office.
So yes, it's great. But I still would never have bought one myself.
Thank you for this! You sound like you use it very similar to how I would. I tried one on in an Apple Store and really liked the little tap on the wrist it gives you
