It's a little misleading to not explain why the newer stars are doing so well.

These days every single track on an album is eligible to chart. That's why we saw loads of songs from lemonade chart and all of Justin B songs simultaneously chart. 5+ Years ago when an album was released only designated official singles were allowed to chart on the hot 100. So yeah, loads of the newer artists are racking up weeks on the hot 100 because their entire albums are eligible to chart while the majority of people on this list only had 3/4 songs per album eligible.

But this is about the top 10 tho

Ok well it would just be a simple matter of me re-phrasing.

Every track on the newer artists album's qualify to reach the top ten (and some have) while only 3/4 tracks designated as official singles have qualified in the past. It's not really fair to group artists that only had 3/4 tracks per album eligable with artists that have every track on their albums eligable but hey, there's no use complaining over it - a lot of the new rules are disrespectful to the legends and devalue the music industry but if that's the way it goes, that's the way it goes.
