Her label is doing this, not her.

ANTI has spawned a #1 hit (which is still top 10), a Top 10 hit. The album went #1 twice, is still Top 5 in the US (where it's certified 2x Plat), has sold over 1M copies WW (so far) and it has nearly 800M streams on Spotify. Sounds like a success so far.

I don't really understand the rage towards Rihanna's sales. Why are you so bothered? Why do you care? If you're not here for her music why do you care about her sales, whether inflated or not? It's not like ypu can show any true reliable counterproof. You would be relying only on sources as reliable (if not less) as Roc Nation reports.

So go listen to your favorite artists and stop fuming about other you clearly don't like

Thank for this breakdown, some of Rihanna's own stans couldn't understand this. Was tracking to explain it's a TEA+SEA number and they thought it was pure sales. Mess.

It'll be interesting if other labels start updating their major artists certifications / WW sales like this.
