1) Do you use the manual crop? or do you crop your gif to 125x125 on websites such as ezgif?
2) How do you make gifs that don't go foward? I mean when you want to mash different scenes from a video..
Also, if you have any advice to share it would be more than welcomed.
PS: Mods don't close this, I know there is a gif tutorial but it is on Photoshop and there is little to no information on the internet about Instagiffer other than the basics.
What I'd like to know is if there's a way yet to download the videos of uploads that contain audio copyright because you used to be able to w no problem. It's so much more of a hassle to use the screen capture feature and is in noticeably lower quality.

1. Nah, I manually adjust the size with the slider in the window.
2. Well, I usually specify like, 50 seconds in the gif length. It gives me a "You're about to make a really long gif, are you sure" dialogue box, and I click Ok. Then, I delete frames manually by left clicking in the video panel...that's how I made my current avi. There was a lot of stuff in between the video it's taken from, all those frames I deleted.
I don't have too much experience with IGf though, I'm sure someone else experienced could give you a more efficient way.
1. I crop a square using those red lines, then slide the 'size' bar down till its 125x125
2. I put in, for example, 120 seconds from the video (in the length of gif section). Once it all loads, I double click on the all frames I don't want and leave in the scenes I do want from the video. It takes a long time, but it's the only way I know.

you can combine them by numbering the gifs by sequence on your computer (like rename the file) and use "Make a gif" on ezgif to combine them

I typically just use another source/website to download the vid. If you just Google "X website video ripper" you can typically find a site that will rip the video for you and can choose the max video quality setting. I use KeepVid for YouTube.
Thank you all guys, it's more or less what I expected, it's not like the program is that complex.
I do the same things you do but sometimes I feel they look out of focus? idk maybe it's just the fact that I'm not very good at cropping I only get them right when it's an interview for example and the person is not moving at all, you just need to put the slider on the person's face.
