Have you guys ever had a real job? You can wear what you want in your free time. I work in a school and I would never wear, for example, a mini skirt with fishnets and flip flops just to be extra and BECAUSE I CAN WEAR WHAT I WANT.
Wearing hats and scarves indoors is considered disrespectful. So if that's a problem for you, you can either follow the same dress code that applies to everyone else, or change a job and find a more tolerant work place.
