I don't see it tbh with Daenerys becoming the new Mad Queen simply because the show is coming to an end soon. She still has to make her way to Mereem, she still has to deal with Euron, she still has to cross the big sea and then she also still has to make it to Westeros and make her way through Westeros. If the show would run for another 30 episodes, the idea of her becoming the new Mad Queen could potentially become true, but since there are only 15-20 episodes left and there are so many more stories left to be told, I don't see it for her.

My thought is that she's going to lose a whole bunch of her army on the sea. I truly believe GoT loves to play with the magical and religious aspect of the show. We have seen that the God of Light seems to be real (-> shadowbaby), that there does seem to exist sth like the many-faced God, etc.. So I thought there has to be a reason why they introduced us to the whole procedure of Euron becoming the new leader of the Ironbornes. I kinda feel the sea god will come into play and will lead to Daeny losing a LOT of her army.
I don't know how she is going to be welcomed in Westeros, but I see a heroic death of her as the most plausible one. After all, the Night's King and her work as the Ying and Yang of the show. The Night King is the leader of the undead and the leader of the whitewalkers, creatures that are made out of the eternal ice, while Daeny is the leader of the dragons, which represent the eternal fire.
I feel like they will both die at the same time because they somewhat co-exist.

Aftter this season there are 12 episodes left, not 15-20.

Seasons 7-8 are already confirmed to have 6 episodes each.

That last scene was unnecessary. Been there, done that a thousand times. It felt like a scene where the Dany supports would just scream YAS QUEEN. Nothing else.

That whole Sam scene was also kind of ridiculous.

And the Arya storyline. It was kind of smart of them to reminds us of old events with that play.

I feel like nothing important has happened so far. With every season, we had something HUGE happening by now. I feel like I can't keep up anymore. I'm lost in all the story-lines, the families, the characters.

I'd rather have S7 as 12 eps rather than it going on for an extra year for just 6 episodes

Sam & Gilly are the only pure and light-heartened characters on the show. They are needed, either way this show would be too depressing. I like them as long as they aren't shown as much as in previous seasons. But from time to time, I love seeing them + Sam is inarguably one of the key characters in terms of the war against the white walkers. He's going to be the reason why Valerian steel will be forged again when Daeny arrives at Westoros, mark my words.

Hodor dies tragically.

Imho, that's already an impressive feat in terms of story progression regarding the fact GoT is usually rather slow the first 6 episodes of each season.

Be patient, much more to come in the rest of this season.

I am. I'm not saying it's a bad season. It's still high quality. But some scenes feel so unnecessary and out of place. Maybe it's because for the first time, the show doesn't have the books to fall back on.
But I'm still excited for the rest f the season.

So where is Jon Snow? It think he hasn't been in the last three episodes.

Where did you read this. I know we are getting a Season 7 and 8 but I was under the assumption that they would be normal 10-episode seasons like the others.

Jon was in episode 4 I believe when Sansa and him headed for some of the northern villages in order to increase their army and overthrow the Boltons @ Winterfell.

It was just so awkward how it was such a huge deal about him coming back to life at the beginning and that's as far as they have gone. I guess his story line will begin developing again soon.

the reason i've read is that the show is getting too big and complicated so they just can't shoot 10 episodes anymore per season.

i guess we will get a few battles cause that's what i imagine takes agessss.
