how can single ladies win song of the year? irreplaceable is better lyrically and production wise than single ladies and she didnt win in those categories when it was nominated.

Single Ladies & Halo should have been submitted in eash others categories.

ROTY is more about production, hence Single Ladies, while SOTY is about the lyrics and performance, hence Halo.

Don't forget that last year Adele won over Katy Perry and P!nk in the female pop vocal category and their songs had more commercial success than her.

I agree that The Grammy's do take Commercial Success into account, but categories like Best Female Pop Vocal isn't always about who has the best voice either.

All I know is that Lady GaGa needs to win at least one.

Taylor is a good singer but she won enough awards this year (but I know she'll win some). She robbed some of them from others.
