Let me remind you all that this is a kids movie. Why are they even touching such controversial subjects like this? They should know it's only going to hurt them financially. Seriously thinking of boycotting Disney now, especially due to the male gay couple in Frozen. Sorry, but this is not something that should be exposed to kids who don't even know what love is yet.
It's 2016 and gay people exist. Why can't they be represented in an animated movie just like straight people have been since FOREVER?? I doubt children will turn gay from seeing a gay couple on their screen for 0,3 seconds. It's important that children see great diversity in media so they can grow up to be accepting of others and a non-discriminating member of society. I doubt Disney will be upset there'll be someone with the username ''EveryoneLovesMe'' who's desperate for becoming famous, will not see their movies. Good day.
This is nice. It's a short moment, but a moment nonetheless. Hopefully Disney and Pixar will continue to take steps in representing gay people in their films. I'm sure it'll take a while for them to make a movie with a gay character in a starring or supporting role, but I have faith that whenever Disney/Pixar does decide to do so, they'll handle it with grace and respect.
