This is truly embarrasing and rude.Madonna was SO much more than Katy Perry.. I would say that Lady Gaga is the "new Madonna" because she is controversal but Madonna and Gaga have a different style and different talents so let's just say that there is not a new artist that is like Madonna
No offence but I believe Madonna despite not serving vocals, was phenomenally creative, innovative and grounbreaking. It's not only about success, it's about being artistically genius and Madonna led the way. Sorry but Katy has none of the above characteristics. She changed nothing, her impact was zero and doesn't serve vocals. So imo the comparisons are pointless.

I can't compare someone modern to Madonna in the 80s, because there is no-one. Madonna is the Madonna of the 80s. Most famous woman in the world, who broke rules, pushed boundaries, wrote some of the best songs.... you can't sum it up in words.
