I don't get it, why did the Grammys PRAISE I Am Sasha Fierce when they didn't do the same with 4 & BEYONCÉ (and probably won't with LEMONADE neither singles wise) while it's probably her worst album (I like it but it sounds so forgettable)?
Is it because the era was commercially huge (singles included)?
It's not a hateful thread AT ALL, I just don't get why this is Bey's most loved album by the Grammys when it shouldn't.
I really don't understand.Because it's a really meh album and it wasn't even critically acclaimed.It has only 1/100 more than ARTPOP on metacritic xD (It has some great bops though)
Weak competitors. And don't forget that DIL and IASF are two Bey's most successful albums, both won 5 Grammys (At Last was not from IASF). So Grammy loves 'most successful' album i guess
And we are going to have never-ending discussions if we're talking about Grammy because they always hit and miss. Just like the difference between AOTY winners. We would never know the real pattern.
Because it's a great album that had a huge impact on pop culture. Sasha Fierce is way better than her two previous albums(DIL and BDay). Her best being 4 and Lemonade. Beyonce is great too but there is one of the most awful Beyonce song ever on it, Pretty Hurts.
Sasha Fierce is everything a pop album should be, great bops and great ballads the two parts album concept was a great thing.
4 and Lemonade are in my top30 albums of all time
