Cyclops, Emma, Magik, Colossus and Namor were transformed into the Phoenix Five thanks to Tony Stark's ****up so the X-Men and Avengers had to combine their efforts to defeat them. Hope and Scarlet Witch ended up being the two to finally defeat Phoenix Cyclops who was the last member of the PF standing.

I never read the individual 'this character vs this character' issues because honestly the crossover was whack af, but there really was no clear victor overall.

Now ideologically, Cyclops pretty much won because Hope + Phoenix Force did indeed end up creating a resurgence in mutants (there were like no mutants whatsoever since House of M). Captain America also admitted that the Avengers weren't doing enough to help with the mutant cause, which is why he ended up creating the Uncanny Avengers, yada yada yada.

Just realised this is the first time I've came out of a main Xmen movie and not thought it was the best in the series so far. (As someone who had no expectations of the Phoenix Saga prior to The Last Stand that movie slayed, deal with it.)

Westerns and superhero movies are being pumped out at the same rate, but westerns all looked the same and featured the exact same story. Superhero movies all look and feel different in theme. Like how the X-Men plays as a drama, Captain America as a Political thriller, Ant-Man a heist movie, and etc.. No onesuperhero movie feels the same, so when that starts happening then you can stay superhero fatigue is happening. The comparison ends with how many movies are being made.
