But if we must argue this, here are some facts: Taylor's music hasn't been on Spotify for a while now so it's not surprising she only made 500k in streams. Drake has done 1.2m+ in pure sales already. Still more than Bey regardless. So it's not like 'streaming is fine for artists that can't sell their music'. If he didn't have streaming he would sell even higher. Also, he is clearly doing more in streams this year than he did last year (he did 1.8 billion in 2015 and Views alone has done over half a billion) so rest assured he is getting more than $2m once 2016 is done.

You people keep finding hilarious ways to downplay Drake's success like it's directly correlated success of your faves. Everyone's getting their money at the end of the day while you're getting in your feelings on the internet.
