The same happened to me in 2012 Until RED came out but before that my music library was full of kpop with a handful of western pop songs. Kpop is just too entertaining.

It's just that nothing exciting is happening in western pop anymore, the music sounds all the same, they don't dance, most are terrible singers, they don't even promote their songs properly. It's all so dull now

Music is okay, imo, and promoting songs when all people do is stream and not buy is pointless. They all put more effort in tours now since that's what brings the actual money in.

And yeah, kpop is much more active, thank god most agencies take notes from JYP and SM, not YG.
