R3: Mladenovic (in a slump)
R4: Svitolina (an Azarenka-lite)
QF: CSN (gets a bagel every match. Also injured) or Putinseva (in general an awful player)
SF: Keys (slow), Venus (the only real player left in this half), Bacsinszky (terrible, couldn't beat SickRena), or Bertens (mental disaster)

She literally has only F opponents to worry about

Begu (choker)
Rogers (sucks)
Muguruza (she's good but probably loses to Sveta)
Kuznetsova (lol she won't make the F)
Aga (sucks on clay, sorry boo)
Pironkova (awful, no FH)
Halep (won't make the F, will lose to Stosur)
Stosur (can actually beat Serena. But sucks these days. Won't make the F)


Literally the last good player in this draw who can...beat Serena without Serena needing to suck is Muguruza who's probably gonna lose tomorrow . Sveta can too but she won't make the F

I'm so glad Venus finished Cornet; that girl is a mess.

If we learned anything from the USO last year (and to a lesser extent the AO this year), it's that we can't take Serena's good form for granted at the tail end of slams. Any of Stosur, Muguruza, Kuzzy, and Halep (maybe Aga) could definitely beat a nervous Serena in the final, and I would still be nervous about a Bacsinszky or Keys semi.

I blame the CYGS for that flop to Vinci . But yeah it's true that her good form could easily disappear. I think playing doubles though will help her keep it.

But as you said she had MM draws at the USO and at the AO and found a way to flop it. Could easily happen here

Those players you listed (not Aga lol) can beat her definitely but I'm gonna pray she keeps her good form.

Keys is too slow she's one of those players who will never beat Serena unless Serena played as bad as...maybe 2014 Wimbledon

Nothing is certain with Serena this year so she could potentially be taken out by anyone who can close a match without choking.
I'm not here for another Serena - Keys/Bacsinszky semi so I want Venus and Bertens to take them both out.

Expected. They've been a bad doubles team the past few years due to their lack of practice and the fact that Serena is terrible at net, forcing Venus to carry the team. It's basically 1 vs 2.

OR, they both played hard singles matches, + a long set of double yesterday, + the rest of round 2 of doubles, plus the round 3 of double today.

I guess their focus is fully on Rio anyway. Mirza and Hingis flopped too so the doubles is kinda interesting (as much as dubs can be )
