She's clearly moved away from that approach and is keeping this album a 'secret'. I'm pretty sure we won't get a single announcement and we'll get the album announcement 1-2 weeks prior its release.
that'd be so good, I hated how she spoiled literally 90% of ARTPOP before it's release, like **** ! keep some mystery so people would be intrigued
I really hope she doesn't try another Q4 release, especially with everyone who is releasing this year.
Meh, there's always going to be competition, she isn't going to avoid it. First quarter was bigger with Beyonce and Drake. Q4 is a stronger sales period and has more promotional opportunities. And she can easily cash in on Black Friday sales and discounts.
I actually feel genuinely sorry for her RE: Bowie family values. It must be the shittiest feeling knowing a) one of your biggest influences doesn't like you and then b) to be trashed by his family/team after giving a tribute to him on one of the biggest award shows.
A part of me still thinks she should have just said no to the whole thing. She'd have dodged a bullet.
