Gurl, Ariana topped the chart WITH STREAMING.
Lol this tea is extra.

One Dance sold 92,593 copies last week, of which 66,782 were conjured up by the magic of streaming.
Stranded at No. 2, Justin Timberlake's Can't Stop The Feeling! had overall sales of 86,210, of which 34,327 came from streams. With 51,883 paid-for sales, it was the UK's biggest-selling single for the third week in a row.

Streaming is currently playing far too large a role in both the singles and albums charts. How are songs and albums that are continuously SELLING significantly more each week not reaching number one because of streaming? I get the charts have to move with the times, but this is people actually spending their money to purchase something and it's like they might as well have not. It's ridiculous.

I hate streaming rule. They should change the ratio at the very least.

But I thought certain others had this on lock?
Anyway I thought it was mathematically unlikely but possible, Beyoncé must've slowed down a lot at the end. Why did it get that huge day in the middle of the week?

Album charts definitely. However, the UK chart at least shows what the country is listening to, be it purchasing, streaming or on the radio. One Dance is the most streamed track and (most likely) the most played song on the radio. I feel Justin may be selling more because he has a lot of older fans from the 30+ demographic who probably still primarily consume music through iTunes.

Anyway, UK must adjust streaming impact ASAP, 7 weeks for OD is crazy and inflated heavily by streams.
Hold Up #4 sales but #26 in the end...
|
Honestly OD still feels like the biggest song, I just wish Hold Up could rise up a bit

have you not been reading? Lemonade outsold Dangerous Woman this week Ariana is #1 bc of streams all across the board while Bey's album is limited to only TIDAL.

Streaming is far more popular here, I don't think it's that off. Drake is a more of an exception to the rule.
And it's not like One Dance/Too Good even count for the album, he's just a streaming monster.

And she still isn't unlike how certain people thought #1 I wish she just uploaded even the singles to Spotify/Apple Music, HU should be Top 10 right now.

I'm pretty sure she did, though, no shade. There was a 3.7k increase against Ariana's 1.9k increase with no missing data and 2 days of tracking left (SPS), and the difference was about 2k. Surely she's be 2k ahead overall unless she slowed down? Ariana was probably slowing down as well over the week, that update sounds like a mess.

Yes, but from March onwards. Then "Bleeding Love" did 7 weeks in October.

One Dance has definitely been the biggest song here for every week of its reign, I see no issue with streaming currently. Just wish Beyoncé wasn't being a bitch and put it on Spotify.

Not One Dance matching runs by iconic songs like Bleeding Love and Wannabe.
That Drake song is such a non event.
