i cant @ little monsters trying to drag xtina with "she was just a britney copy!!". i mean it's true but wasn't lady gaga branded (by the critics AND by the GP) as a madonna wannabe?
Maybe Xtina sold more copies considering the time and the difference with physical-digital, but in impact Gaga had a stronger-bigger debut.
Xtina made the difference with 'Stripped' and 'Back to Basics', but her first album wasn't memorable, in line with the trend of that moment (except for her vocal talent obviously).
Most of humanity will agree that everything Gaga does and has accomplished surpasses everything Xtina has done. Even Gaga's farts are more creative and successful than anything Xtina has done during her 5 minute peak.
Gaga "felt bigger" because y'all are a bunch of pubescent gays and haven't witnessed the coming of Christina Aguilera. Christina's debut was much bigger, she was everywhere. And fyi, there was no itunes back then. You had to go to the store. Prices were higher, salaries were smaller. It was very different from when Gaga debuted.
