I'm buying my first reptile next week, just ordered this giant terrarium for it. It seems like a lot of people are not crazy about them, my mom included.
Do you like them? Do you have one (had one?)? What don't you like about them?
Something I don't get is that the large majority of reptiles are quite docile and calm. I think people just take reptiles as just being a handful of poisonous snakes and dinosaurs. The larger majority of chameleons, geckos, salamanders, frogs, and turtles wouldn't hurt you even if you attacked them.
