Extra streaming is what gaga needs since she's not particularly a streaming force. And when you put effort into something it generally pays back. Hence why Katy's lyric video has 127M more hits than Gaga's lead single's lyric video.

But the main difference is that Katy and her team put these things together SPECIFICALLY to appeal to as many people as possible, and then they push it through various platforms in order to make it go "viral". It's not a bad thing, obviously, but that's just not how Gaga does things. And it'll never be how Gaga does things.
But anyways, if we want Gaga to capitalize on streaming then she needs to take a couple notes from KPOP artists (like Bieber has). KPOP artists will often times release several versions of their music videos for the sole purpose of increasing their streams.
- Video that is just audio of the song
- Lyric video
- Regular music video
- Choreo-only music video
- Dance practice (Gaga and her dancers rehearsing in studio) video
That would be amazing.
I would also love for her to do what she did for You and I. Each character/outfit had its own mini-video.
And despite all of that seeming like it would take a lot of work, it really wouldn't.
