I Lied is a 10/10

I didn't like Reflection at all except for Worth It, it just felt cheap and predictable for a young gril group but they got my attention again with WFH, then the promo tracks and then AIMH and I am glad I did gave them another chance, this album is great, the production is very good and their voices are amazing I love the solo distribution this time which was another thing I disliked big time about Reflection.

Squeeze is better on the second listen, but still lackluster.

After listening to the album all day long, i think now i can make my review:

That's My Girl - 5/10. I think it's a perfect opener but sounds something from Better Together. Just don't fit the vibe of the rest of the album. And that noisy chorus The verses and pre-chorus are good tho.

Work From Home - 10/10. Perfect lead single. It's simple, catchy and all that.

The Life - 10/10. I love this one. It's amazing, catchy, and since Camz is my fave i'm really happy that she got a lot of parts here

Write on Me - 6.5/10. It's good but i don't listen to it a lot. Like, when the album is playing i won't skip that and sometimes i listen to it but i feel like it's lacking something. But it's a great song, the production is flawless too.

I Lied - 9/10. I love the fact that 80% of this song is basically a Camren duet Then Dinah and Normani on the bridge and they slay too!

All in My Head - 1000/10. My favorite! I'm so glad it's the second single cause i would be really pissed if they snubbed this The production is so amazing, Dinah and Mani shines on the chorus and everyone slays. I can't stand Fetty but even him sounds nice here.

Squeeze - 10/10. This song is so magical and i love every single thing about it. It's like the hotter sister of WOM

Gonna Get Better - 10/10. Another fave! Everyone sounds SO good, omg The chorus with Ally and Camila's voices blended together sounds heavenly, i'll need more of it

Scared of Happy - 6/10. This is the filler. It's not 100% bad but... idk. I don't like the breakdown. Sounds like a cheap latin song idk

Not that Kinda Girl - 9/10. I was hating this but today i was at the gym and listening to the album and for some reason this song kinda grew on me. I was legit slayed, idk why Missy's verse is

Dope - 10/10. The production Reminds me of OOTW by Taylor (hi Jack!) and i love the production. Ally slays so much here omg

No Way - 10/10. Perfect closer. Lauren shines so much. Their best ballad for me.


MY TRINITY: All in My Head, Squeeze and Gonna Get Better (btw that 1-2-3 punch woo )
BOTTOM 3: That's my Girl, Write on Me and Scared of Happy.

I feel like the songs i liked the least will grow on me at some point btw.

Overall, 9/10 for me. Flawless album.

^^ lmao. like I said, Not That Kinda Girl is the Body Rock of the album. The majority disliked it when it first came out and now almost everyone loves it.

I thought that song was one of the worst songs I've ever heard but now I love how tacky it is.

That's my girl is amazing! Totally met up to its hype.

The Life and Write on Me are like two of their worst's songs ever. I don't know how I ever tolerated them.

Squeeze is gross, cheesy and tacky but I love it...

I enjoyed reading this, thanks for sharing, I totally agree with the bolded parts and I disagree on some but you will see that on my review, I will just give it another listen so I can form a better opinion.

Remember that millisecond snippet of TMG that leaked from the video shoot? I hear that part in the song now. That's Camila in the 2nd and 3rd pre-choruses going "don't you ever forget iiiit"
same here. I thought it was watered down dance-pop but when you look at it from a soca standpoint, it's kinda innovative hehe
