Sistren, or at least Dylan, I got a proposal about dueling.
When we translated the Tag Force Special game (us being XenoTranslations) we did something we called "Chrono Duels" aka we used to make decks based on how were the cards released by date. Aka we started with decks containing cards from the very first booster pack, aka Vol.1, then kept on "opening packs" or "going to events" where we were able to keep on getting cards. But we did this to experience how the game evolved time by time, using the OCG packs of course, ain't nobody is here for the TCG.
Why don't we do this, Dylan, or anyone, is really fun. I mean, the first pack we use is the Vol.1 cards, not all of them, we keep on adding 5 cards by 5 cards, for example. So, what do you say?

This sounds fun! But someone link me where i can see what cards can i use in each match!

No sis, we start using the Vol.1 pack. LOB is from the TCG. We will use the OCG cuz it's the original. I mean, some people were like "but Vol.1 is full of weak vanillas". But in the end everyone had lots of fun cuz playing using weak ass monsters gives lots of kiis.
Also we did it cuz we wanted to use all existing cards or at least get to know them, while experiencing the evolution of the card game. We played all of tag force special doing that until we finished. The good thing with YGOPro is that it's always being updated so we don't have the fear of "we're getting to the end".
Of course we'll duel using normal decks as well when we feel like it, but let's have fun with the Chrono Duels.
As I said, we're going through all packs of the OCG, and if a card was released in a tournament or whatever then we'll have access to it as well, etc etc.
So for now, we'll start with the Vol.1 pack, the very first pack.
Vol.1 had 40 cards, so imagine a world where ONLY 40 CARDS EXISTED, that lasted for a month, so people that got into the game that early had a month of making decks out of 40 different cards lol.
So, do I explain how we'll get the cards??

Ok, so let's begin.
This is February 4th, 1999 and we got our very first pack.
We all rushed to the shops and got lots of packs so we all got all 40 cards.
Decks consist of 40 cards, but getting one copy of each is not a really smart idea.

TRIVIA:
-The pack contains 30 Normal Monsters, 9 Spells and 1 Trap.
-The Spells are divided in 5 Equip Spells and 4 Normal Spells.
-The Trap is a Normal Trap.
-This is the debut of Water, Earth, Wind, Dark and Light attributes.
-This is the debut of Beast-Warrior, Beast, Warrior, Zombie, Spellcaster, Dinosaur, Fiend, Plant, Thunder, Dragon, Fairy, Insect, Rock, Aqua and Winged Beast types.
-This is the debut of LV 2, 3, 4 and 7 Monsters.
-This is the debut of the Normal Summon method.
-This is the debut of the Tribute Summon method.
-This is the debut of Normal Monsters, Normal Spells, Equip Spells and Normal Traps.
So, now, we have all 40 cards right now, we can make any deck we want, we got at least 3 copies of each of the cards cuz we were so hyped that we bought lots of boosters, so we can make lots of different decks using any of the 40 cards. We can duel using any combination of them.
RULES:
1.- We can only use the available cards, in this case only those 40 cards, using up to 3 copies of each card, except if the card is in the banlist.
2.- The deck must contain from 40 to 60 cards.
3.- There's no extra deck right now, cuz neither of its cards has debuted.
4.- Your side deck can only contain up to 15 cards.
5.- Duels must start at 4000LP or 8000LP.
TIPS FOR THIS FORMAT:
1.- Don't recommend to use all 6 copies of the LV 7 Monsters cuz you could end up with a dead hand.
2.- It's better to focus on certain types so you can get the best of the Equip Spells. In this early state of the game, those Equip Cards make a big difference and can give you the victory.
3.- Beware of Trap Hole. It would be a shame to sacrifice 2 monsters to summon your boss (if you add it to your deck) only to get Trap Holed, remember there's no way to get rid of it right now, so beware of any set card.
