This woman slayed that stage, the choreography is her best SINCE pre-2005 Britney and she looked phenomenal. But you cannot say it was horrible when 5H, Meghan Trainor and a slew of others had horrible performances.
|
I'm sorry, but there was nothing even remotely good about it. I also thought 5H and Meghan's performances were tragic, but at the very least they sang live. This was sloppy dancing and stomping to pre-recorded vocals. I get that she's got more energy than she's had in a long time, but she literally slayed nothing and my standards are much higher than what she gave.

Where did I post this over and over again? Oh wait, I didn't. But I'll say it again since I don't care, it was bad. I could perform it better than her.

When Britney wasnt in shape people said that she has to lose weight, when she lost weight but perform with no energy people said that if she doesnt deliver the dance routines that she did back in her early years of her career, it will be ok if she shows some energy, now that she has energy people want her to do complex dance moves, gosh, haters are so annoying !!!!! like they dont even buy her albums or go to her shows to be mad about it. Whats the point of want her to do a great performance if you dont like her to begin with. And by the other side, if you dont want her do a great performance why you bother to criticize her.

Haters come off as bitter, ridiculous or just on a troll mood. To point out for example Britney's 2000 or 2001 VMA performances, let's get something clear: They were from the best pop performances ever. To discredit the BBMAs performance because she wasn't on par with her so-called peak is just an error in judgement. First of all, the songs were different most of the time and when there was a coincidence while not on the same lane as the previous performance it was still and undoubtedly so a vast improvement from her lacking performing period.
Despite that, the highlights of the performance were better than various performances from any Britney era, including some of the first ones and that's what the public could notice and why this performance is enjoyed so much. It was entertaining, fun, Britney did deliver and charismatically so. For a moment you could see the Britney you digged so much and just ****ing enjoy it. I did, many ones did too and if you didn't, well, too bad.
As I said before, I think this direction of Britney is great, I'm glad she's taking care of herself and I'm excited for the new material.

She was out of sync with the rest of the dancers a few times, occasionally stiff, and lip-synced badly. However, it's an improvement and I can't wait to see what she does next. I expect her to keep getting more confident and slay! Congratulations Army, enjoy your moment

She killed it. She started off a little stiff but after the first couple of songs she got into it. "Toxic" was the best part, she didn't miss a beat with that choreo.

It was a great performance. Some ppl just love hating on her so much. I bet that if she were to perform the 2000 VMA performance nowadays ppl would still drag her, just cause they love saying she's not like her old self. If you compare many parts of this performance to her past performances you can clearly see she has the exact same carisma, fire in her eyes, confidence and MOVES as she used to have. Whoever says otherwise is just so caught up in hating her he can no longer see.
I am among the first in line to say her last year performance, for instance, was mediocre, but this one was PURE FIRE (minus the first 50 seconds where she seemed to be a little stiff ane nervous). The residency has been very good to her and thourgh it you can clearly see how she keeps getting better.
As she sings herself - love me, hate me, say what you want about me but all of the boys and all of the girls are begging to IF U SEEK AMY
Bye haters!
