All those girls were compared to Bey first by non fans. Rihanna's original fanbase were a bunch of bandwagons who stanned for Ashanti, Mya, and all those other girls who couldn't sustain.

Everytime a new girl came out, it was "Beyonce better watch out." That was even on the sticker for one of Rihanna's albums. I remember because the Beyhive dragged Jay for days on BWBoard.
