Spotify has slowed its losses and managed to grow 'significantly' during 2015, even with Apple Music launching. Interesting.

The article has also mentioned that it may not be all good news for Spotify as it may struggle to ever make a profit in the future. The free streaming tier will go pretty soon, I'm sure.

I have never thought of it like that! People thinking that they weren't interested in streaming services, taking out their Apple Music trial because it's integrated with their iPhone already and then swapping to the cheaper superior service when they get the taste for it

News like this will attract even further investment to Spotify, and those shareholders will be well aware at the time of purchase that Spotify will not put coins in their bank accounts. Long-term, tho, news like this suggests investing in Spotify and being in it for the long-haul is the smart thing to do. Continued growth + userbase >>>
