Eh. Usually when a song sells that well pop jumps on it immediately so kinda sad! Wish it did better
If it was a more relevant artist, I think it would have done better. (Not to drag my fave like that, but...)
But Kelly's PxP era was very underwhelming. Her lead went platinum, but peaked at #21. Her second single flopped into oblivion after that. That one performance was a random spark that took the entire industry by surprise, and it did well at helping to sell the album a bit (getting it to Gold), but a piano ballad on pop radio is hard to push, and they were NOT here for the radio mix.
Hope Needed Me repeaks in 2 weeks, Ariana or Nick could overtake her next week, but she could still do it!
I do also want DW and Close to repeak actually! Hopefully WFH can somehow snatch #4 next week or the week after!
