The hive is complaining about Bey not promoting or not having an era, but I think she is just growing jaded. Sometimes things just aren't any fun anymore. Think about it, what is keeping the excitement going in the industry? What reason does she have to keep pushing ? The industry is **** and its dying fast. There is literally no energy to feed of off. All of her peer and contemporaries are basically hanging their hats. How would you feel if you were are star varsity athlete but could only play little league? That crap is no fun. Even popular culture is boring, nothing is happening and when it does, it dies quickly because of the rate that news travel, everything is so instant and this generation gets bored quickly. I, for one, don't even enjoy coming on here to check for culture news like I used to, it's just not fun! I think Bey is over it and is ready to bow out looking like a legend... A Titan.

You have a good point actually. What's there left for her to achieve in this "chart game"? She can still sell and chart nicely while not having to suck up for it like everyone else does these days (relentless promo, buzz tracks, announcements of announcements, braging/hyping on social media, lyric videos/teasers for easy streams, radio deals, payolas, etc). She's just waaaay over it now. Can't judge her on that.

But if she truly wants to focus on her tour, the she has to make her songs available to the public so they can know them. She doesn't have to push them, but she can't just hide them like she's doing with Lemonade by not putting it up on other services or uploading to Youtube...

she pushes herself enough...she doesn't care about having hit singles, talk show appearances, award show appearances, little promo performances, etc.

How is this pretentious? The woman Has literally been working non-stop since a kid. She's accomplished so much and has had incredible longevity. No one in this industry is on her level in terms of an overall well rounded artist, period.

If being bored of the industry keeps pushing her to make the best album of her career each time than girl can hide in a cave for all I care as long as she keeps releasing music and touring.

I'm not saying that there is no talent in the industry, I'm saying that there isn't much impact from these said talented artist. The Industry isn't eventfull, aside from a hand full. There are many talented people, but the industry is just a mess. Im talking about as a whole: the labels, the sales, the effort, etc.
