Do you think Teen smoking would drop if they started advertising "Homosexual Cancer"?

I think the video is hiliarious, but what if that was the fear, not lung cancer?

My opinion is, I think it would work, but not in our generation, I think everyone knows it's common sense it isn't gay to smoke, but who knows!!! Maybe schools can enforce it and teach this in school then maybe kids won't start!

Not that being gay is a bad thing Just a technique to promote less teen smoking.

I'm gay and sometimes some of my new "straight" friends are always like "Dude, I'm not gay, but it's cool that you are." It's like they are pressed they have a gay friend that could hit on them.

I don't go up to girls and say "Girl, I'm not straight, but I don't mind you are." I would be flattered if a girl hit on me, just know I won't do **** with them

It would work if people believed it. The sad but true fact of reality is that people probably would care more if they said smoking made you gay rather than the current method of smoking makes you die.

I'll never understand how the smoking companies admit that smoking can lead to cancer which leads to death but no one seems to care...

If it did made you gay, people would just stop caring and become gay. Gay would be the new thing. And then all the non-smoking straight males would be the ones impregnating women, and natural selection would work wonders from people who are not damaging their organisms. Plus, the worldwide population would heavily drop, which is good for the planet.

Maybe there would be less hate

I love the uniqueness of the idea you suggested, however any company that put out an advert like that would be sued and taken to the cleaners for trying to create mass homophobia

And the most ironic thing about it is that if it weren't for those people thinking being gay is worse than being dead, there would be so much less homophobia. They feel that if they were gay they'd be made fun of constantly when THEY are the people making fun. Dimwits.

Is the message ****ing stupid? Of course. It would create even more homophobia than what is already out there. But I keep coming back to the idea of a relatively smoke-free world, and it does sound wonderful.

It wouldn't work. Smoking is going to be "cool" for years and years to come, not even the "gay" label can overrule that.

I dont smoke so that would be okay for me.
