The trailer is not bad and the movie will not be bad either. The movie is directed by Paul Feig who has made amazingly funny movies likes Bridesmaids, Spy and The Heat, and the actresses are wonderful comedians. Kristen and Kate are pure comedy gold.

It's been disliked just by stupid men whose childhood "has been ruined" because there's a new all-female cast. They're pressed and bitter. The new generation don't care and will still watch the movie.

It's not 100% misogyny. I'd love to see a female led Ghostbusters - but this version looks dumb, and they play into stereotypes like the black woman being the only one who isn't traditionally educated.

Like if you're going to present a female Ghostbusters, do it in a genuinely funny and interesting way.

If it was just a terrible film, people would've ignored it just like all the bad films we chose to ignore because of the trailer.

For this one, there is definitely an anti-movement for it. I read youtube comments trying to spread hate to increase the dislikes. It's not normal, it's a phenomenon brought about by misogyny.

It's more shocking that people are surprised rather than the amount of dislikes, really. You're taking a franchise beloved by males, kicking them out of it and putting a female focus on something which females didn't give a crap about before. The pendulum is swinging too far in the opposite direction now, film was obviously very misogynistic before but the cure to that isn't "Let's snatch up a bunch of male franchises and see what happens if we change the gender of the cast!" If this film had been fair, diverse and inclusive regardless of gender or race then it would be smashing right now. Female power should not be be about this, it should be about both genders being put on a fair and equal playing field where everyone can play together without being boxed into a specific role.

Plus, it looks like a crap SNL bit which got above average shares due to the high production value but isn't even slightly funny.
