Right now, yes. The only way to remix a single is before releasing it, although hopefully Antuan changes this so it's possible to remix after release.

Are you using the coupon code?
If so, you have to "buy" the game with that code, which you'll get for free.
If you have your serial code and it's not working, close the game, re-open, wait a few minutes.
