Yup. Fact also is that there's the risk to frontload the single and then leave it free-falling for a couple weeks. The format alone, also, doesn't guarantee that much of a back-up in terms of chart points.
My guess is that AIMH goes to mainstream radios May 30th. This way, WFH has one week to establish itself at #1 and then be swiftly replaced. Being added on the 7th seems fine too, even tho I think WFH would be falling by then.
Another scenario could be that the video is coming June 3rd, so that first week sales could guarantee a good debut AND THEN the video gets it a huge boost. It would also kind of help in terms of SPS for 7/27's second week, even tho in a light way. Video would boost streams tho, so that's a plus.
I believe there's a plan, but wasting two huge promo slots such as DWTS finale and BBMA (even tho the performance's visibility is restricted and I doubt it would make that much of a difference) just doesn't seem that profitable and right to me. But I'm sure they do know best.
