There is more personality to Leona's music than there is to Alexandra Burke's in my opinion. Leona is given songs that suit her style, they appeal more to Leona. I think Simon wanted Alexandra to be the complete opposite from Leona, which is why she has been given these up-tempo pop hits, she doesn't seem to make the tracks feel like her own unlike Leona.

Don't bring Alicia in here, 'Doesn't Mean Anything' is epic.

I actually think most Leona songs, almost all of them, lack personality and some charm. :-/
She can sing, but she can't do nothing else. :-/

And sorry, but 'The Silence' is better than any Leona song, even 'Bleeding Love'.

Beyonce and Alexandra are singers and entertainers.
They can sing, they can dance, they're charismatic and have stage presence.
Leona lacks all of that except the 1st thing.

And I think that Alexandra is one of the best UK artists in a while and her debut is amazing.

Although Alexandra is a good entertainer, I would rather see Leona peform. Her voice is very beautiful and emotional.

I do agree that Leona can only really stick to limited material e.g ballds. Where Alexandra can keep coming back with different material. But I want to hear something which makes me realise that Alexandra is an individual artist. At the minute, she just seems be mimicking other atrists. This isn't her fault. i just think her record label are trying to hard to try and get the same success with her like they did with Leona. "The Silence", "Good Night, Good Morning" and maybe "Bad Boys" are the only tracks that feel like they're bringing out Alexandra's personality for me.

Alex is a jack of all trades, master of none. Leona has class, she's beautiful and has an out-of-this-world voice. I know which I prefer
