The Silence is a beautiful song! I've loved it since the album was released! I'm not sure how it would do if it was released to US Radio as people don't seem to know how to appreciate talent anymore in the US, but we'll see. Alexandra might just release brand new stuff for the US market. The UK and US markets are very different.

'Bad Boys' is so US and has Flo Rida on it, she needs to release it there as the 1st single ASAP.

If it was one of the best ballads of the millenium I hardly think it would be released as a 3rd or even given to someone of her calibre.

Though I love the song, one of my favs of the album

I agree this has a great shot at number 1 here! I thought it would have been the second single but oh well... I would also agree with Bad Boys being the first US single. I'd imagine that Flo Rida would help the song to get noticed. 'The Silence' could work as a first single though, if they promote it in a similar manner to how they promoted 'Bleeding Love'.
