Then DON'T. These boycotts are ****ing stupid. The governor of NC is the one being a mess, not your fans.
Do what Mumford & Sons(?) did: play the show and donate all the proceeds to a pro-LGBT charity.

This actually makes sense, because then you're actually doing something. Support the LGBT community and put your money where your mouth is. S***, stage a protest if you want, do something. Canceling accomplishes nothing.

I don't think people should cancel their concerts there considering the arenas/stadiums that artists perform at are mostly owned by local governments (or are privately owned) and have nothing to do with the state government which is the one that passed the HB2 legislation. You can speak out against the law without punishing your fans for something that has nothing to do with them. Performing in NC is not going to benefit the state economy (and even if it did it wouldn't be significant)
It just seems like people are cancelling concerts in NC for PR reasons rather than actual logic

Never mind the fact that these artists are punishing the fans and some of them aren't even old enough to vote and therefore aren't even part of this.
I'm not even going to start on M5 playing Russia.
