Why would they announce The Sims 5, when The Sims 4 is doing so well?
I swear some of you broke peeps are still playing base game only.

I mean, i don't think for a second any of you played the Sims 3 base game and ignored EPs.
Especially since the Sims 3 had half the things to do than in Sims 4.

There's like two hobbies your Sims can have one actual community lot (park) that isn't empty or rabbit hole.

I'm wondering how the unisex thing would work tho? I'm guessing you can make a male or female sim and use both gender hairs, beard, clothing? I can see the religious people trying to boycott this if so. I'm excited for everything in this game's future, they just need to update a lot.

Yep, above GTA V, Fallout 4, Star Wars etc. on PC. And they were both huge for PC.

People saw the light. Plus the DLC has been really good so that's convincing people to buy.
The base game was a misstep but the DLC has been a major improvement, with packs like Spa Day, Get Together and Dine Out executing ideas better than The Sims 2 even did.

The base game and Get To Work aren't anything special though.
