If they're really planning to commit a rape, not being allowed to enter the women's restroom by claiming they "feel like a woman" isn't going to be a huge barrier to them. They'll just go in anyway.

And considering trans people have been using the bathrooms of their self-identified genders for quite some time before this controversy arose with no record of an issue ever happening, this seems like a pointless hypothetical.

Btw most stores already have a policy similar to Target's, they just haven't spoken out about it. Target decided to make this policy public strictly for PR reasons (as a form of protest against the new North Carolina law). Target has already had this policy in effect for years. Walmart likely has the same policy (although they haven't said so), as does Starbucks and Barnes & Nobles.

How many men (you can include trans women too, since that wouldn't change the number) have attacked little girls at Target since this new policy? Just curious.
