I don't think Sharbat Gula is famous; only her image is.
EDIT: besides that image is from the 80s.

Oops I meant to vote for JK Rowling. It's between her, Jolie and Obama I think.
I wouldn't say that any of the pop girls listed maintained their fame long enough.
Hillary doesn't count as she was around with Diana...
