I'm talking about what I've personally experienced and the people I know who are engaging in those kinds of relationships. It's very closely tied to someone's looks and insecurities.

I personally would never and have never been in a relationship with someone who wants to be in an open relationship and I'm thankful no one has ever brought it up. However I was on the other end of this **** where I was with someone who I had no idea was in such a relationship and I regretted it immediately (when I found out).

It's not my place to judge, but I could never do it except in very specific situations, like if me and my partner have very different sexual needs that just can't be met halfway.

That wouldn't work for me, if I'm in a relationship I give my 100 while I'm in it. If my bf ever mentions it then it means that something's wrong with the relationship, also the risk of getting a STD is very high because you don't know who he will mess around with so no, If you're not 100% with me then you're not the one for me.

I get jealous when he's talking about others and i can say that it hurts me sometimes hearing some stuff but i play it cool. So i can't imagine being the one that will say : oh yeah go ahead , i was tkinking about the same.

It's simple... somebody wants their cake and eat it too. They want to have sex with different people, but want the stability of someone waiting for them at home. It's selfish, imo.

i think they can work for some people, but i wouldn't date anyone who refused to have a monogamous one. it just wouldn't work for me. and i think a lot of people get into them without realizing that they can't handle it. so you should think carefully about yourself before you get into one

i wouldnt do it myself if im getting in a relationship i only wanna be with the person im in a relationship with and hopefully my partner will feel the same way towards me otherwise its not gonna work on my end
but with other people go for it, it doesnt effect me why should i care do what you want it works really well with some relationships

I think it's majorly messy unless you're all getting tested often and are on the same page. Still, I probably would never want to have one because it's like trying to have your cake and eat it too. I think it kind of defeats the purpose of trying to be committed to someone. If I want to **** around, I'd be better off doing that while single. If I want to be in a relationship with someone, it's because I'm falling in love with them and I only want to be with them (for the time being). Why must people complicate things?
