Frankie Explains Ariana 'Moonlight'-'Dangerous Woman' Change
FUSE: Initially, this album was titled Moonlight and its lead single was "Focus." Something then changed and the album title and lead single were "Dangerous Woman." What happened in between this period?
Frankie: "You can see in her interviews and the stuff she's put out publicly: Her stance on feminism, and standing up for women around the world that are underrepresented and have been for years—this is a problem that is not going away at all. You know, we lost our grandfather almost two years ago—crazy—and it's me, my mom, my sister, and my grandmother, and we're all strong women. Clearly, I'm not a woman, but I've been raised by my mom and I'm a very staunch feminist as well.
Something just clicked with one of the interview questions and she fired back, "No, I'm not anyone's property. I'm not anyone's ex, I'm not anyone's future wife, I'm not anyone's future girlfriend, I'm Ariana Grande." I think literally that moment she was like, "What the **** is happening?! We need to educate the world right now." And I think it pushed her in a different direction with her album where she was allowing that inner, dangerous woman to come out. It's also a celebration of everyone's dangerous woman. There's a dangerous woman inside of you and you can choose to let her out. You can choose to not let her out. You can choose to keep her in your bedroom. That's the point—feminism means you get to choose. And that's what the whole album is: Her making very strong decisions."

Kinda ironic given that in the song she implies she's someone's 'dangerous woman' - "YOU make me feel like a dangerous woman."
It's all a load of crap, and I'm an Ariana stan. She should stop trying this hard and let her actions speak louder than words a bit more.

He looks 100 years old in the OP. Is he younger or older than Ari?

She isn't speaking at all beloved, this is Frankie's interview.
Maybe you shouldn't take a ****ing song lyric so literally. Her "actions" are none of your concern either, you don't know her life. Ariana has been supporting her peers from day one, is always bigging up other women, and bringing awareness to misogyny. What else do you want her to do?
And FOH with that logic that singing about another man making her feel more dangerous somehow makes her less of a feminist or women. That makes no sense.

Bull****. DW is a good pop album, but it's not a statement album or necessarily influenced by feminism and it doesn't have to be.
Why is he talking for her and giving interviews about someone else's album. Cute, unneeded promo I guess but can he disappear?

Reading is fundamental beloved:

She's great but it sort of just seems like they decided this would be a good cover to mask the fact that they desperately needed to change direction after Focus, and fast.

Like 10 years older
EDIT: He's a mess
"So, literally, if she wants to know what the gays are going to think, I'm right there for her."

Some (not all) of the statements in what you quoted are indeed Ariana's, but the foolish correlation between the change of direction for her album and the concept of feminism are Frankie's contribution.

Comprehension is also fundamental, beloved.
Singing about a guy making you feel dangerous in no way makes you someone's "property". I don't even get the correlation you're trying to make. The song negates nothing that she said in that quote.
