it's because of the way she USED IT!!! she flat out let us in the stan world know what the song was about but when it came time to share it with the general public in her music video; she brings out her squad and claims it was about feminism . that's just being hypocritical and using feminism only for her own advantage.

people diss each other in music all the time, hell dissing people via song is one of Taylor's favorite pastimes. she just got tired of people coming at her for slamming her exes and claimed/used sexism and the need for feminism. and then she threw Adele under the bus for no reason and also deflected on Bruno Mars. Ed sided with her when she threw him under the bus but he is her friend. Adele only wrote a handful of songs on ONE album about ONE ex vs Taylor's multiple songs about several of her exes in all her albums (except her debut); so why the **** did Taylor attack/deflect on Adele for no damn reason?! what did Adele do (other than be successful) for Taylor to drag her through the mud just to prove a point that people were picking on her diss songs?! and to claim that it was sexist to top it off . Taylor ONLY uses feminism to her advantage and is hypocritical, THAT is why people have a problem with her.
