Her vocals on Jasons song are irrefutable!!! It's not commercial but Ariana has always been very into musical theatre and her voice stripped bare on top of Classic Broadway style piano improvisation is something I didn't think she would ever release. It reminds me of Sara Bareilles.
And step on up is dated/cheap/Disney but it's still a bop and her vocals sound so good on it. The slappy bass at the bottom is also brilliant.
We can all agree though that KB/FB should've been on the album. And wouldn't it have been great if Bad Decisions ended the album tbh with " ain't you ever seen a princess be a bad bitch "
like maybe even on Chelsea Handler's new netflix show or something, idk i just want her to be as busy as possible in these next few months
