I can kind of see it, mainly with Cydney being swayed, but I do agree with you.

He's been in Ponderosa with the rest of the jurors since the jury started so if he hadn't convinced anyone else to vote for Aubry by day 38, I don't think he could have swayed anyone else.

I doubt he was campaigning for her the whole time in Ponderosa

Cydney is the only one I could see possibly being swayed, but at the same time she saw everything for the most part play out so I don't know how open she would have been to reason at that time
