Not not a dog. I had pets like my hamsters or parakeets die but they were annoying af. I couldn't imagine my dog dying he's only 5

But yes, actually, just last week my dog of 11 years passed, and I was so sad and still miss her so much.
She was about to reach 12yo at the end of this month too. I got her for my 10th birthday so it was very hard since she's been with us for so long and we have so many memories attached to her.
Don't blame the maids, it's the owners fault. You should either cover the pool or crate train your puppy while you're away. SMH.

Maids aren't dog sitters . Do you even know how much work and attention a puppy requires? And having a pool is like the #1 red flag as well.
My cousin had a 3 year old dog which died from stomach cancer. Even though he wasn't ours, we loved him so much: he helped my mom to overcome her fear of dogs and she was particularly attached to him. She would take him out for a walk every time she got the chance. He was so cheerful and warm to everyone, it was one of the worst moment in my life 'cause I watched him growing up since he was two days old and then suffering for months until we decided to kill him with an injection in order to avoid him the pain which would have occurred for many more months.
Yes! It got ran over my a car. Luckily, I wasn't there to see my dog or the accident. Or else I would be stuck with the mental image.

Yes, my teacup Chihuahua Lucifer passed from encephalitis. Apparently a lot of toy breeds have this brain disorder because of their size and it causes them to have seizures. One seizure lasted too long, by the time I got to the vet, he was already frothing at the mouth and twitching, they had to put him down. $700 later I was torn, depressed and dogless.
